Please tune in Wednesday Sept 6th to The Ostroy/DeLaite Report...Where Democrats Play Rough as we welcome Democratic strategist Joe Trippi, former campaign manager for '04 presidential candidate Howard Dean and now head of his own political consultancy. We'll tap Joe for his thoughts on the midterm elections and the Democrats' chances of winning back the House and Senate.

It covers the ever-changing political landscape with guests that include The Nation's Katrina vanden Heuvel, WABC Radio's Ron Kuby, Marc Maron, nationally-syndicated radio host Stephanie Miller, Russ Baker, Marc Crispin Miller, Nomi Prins, BuzzFlash.com's Mark Karlin, BradBlog.com's Brad Friedman, NY State Attorney General candidate Mark Green, NY's 20th Congressional District candidate Kirsten Gillibrand, Michigan's 9th candidate Nancy Skinner and others. The show airs every Wednesday at 6:30PM in NYC on Time Warner channel 67. It can also be viewed live over the internet at MNN.org. Just follow the steps to "Watch MNN/ch 67."

And stay tuned for upcoming show info. We'll soon be joined by Fox News political analyst Kirsten Powers, who recently skewered Ann Coulter while guest-hosting on Hannity & Colmes.

Democrats need to start living in Crawford tree houses, where barking moonbats belong.

Hey I remember Joe Trippi. He was the one that organized the empty bus caravan in Iowa to make it LOOK like Howard Dean had followers. What a fake this guy is.

you may call him a fake, but that's part of posturing your candidate - ask Rove about it.

you call it 'posturing your candidate', I call it false advertising.

I see Johnny has morphed into Larry. However, speaking of outrageous advertising, remember during Bush's early days there was a clip played over and over of his getting off the plane and dogs were shown waiting to greet him. They never approached him, however, with wagging tales but just sat theire with their eyes to the left looking at their trainer. The Repubs improved their "false advertising" later when they controlled the throngs of people recruited to rally around Bush and ask the easy questions. There are loads of further examples.

Johnny is a jerk

Cathy -- Surely this is not the "real" Cathy. It's really hard to learn to read or even make it to school if you're hungry, or you had to sleep on the stoop because you, even though a child, were locked out of your house for the night. Knowing how to read is not necessarily the road to wisdom as indicated by the current administration. The better part of intelligence is the ability to imagine. A form of that intelligence is called empathy.
